The website shows 4 books in a little case for $28 - what arrived was one big fat paperback - does not match description, and is no way worth $28.00 !!
These are well written with believable character and good plots. No bad language and no vivid sex scenes. Now we're just waiting for the next one in the series.
These stories remind me of a TV series, Death In Paradise, which were a terrific binge! The plots and characters are all so similar and make reading a stress-less stretch of time to calm the soul during a very stressful period in the real world. Truth, justice and happy endings......
I was hooked with the first book. Simply pleasurable reads can be hard to find. The setting on Jersey was new to me. The mysteries were honestly presented, I could figure them out by the end but I liked the way the author tied everything together.
I really enjoyed reading this series of books. They were clean, well written and quite entertaining. D.I. Graham is extremely likeable and could actually be a real person. He is human like the rest of us.
I’d give this collection 3 1/2 stars...if I could. The writing improved by the third novel. They were short cozy mysteries with an interesting setting in the Isle of Jersey. I liked the main character and would read more books from this author starring this character.
I hadn't noticed that the four books are in one volume, which make them a little difficult to handle, particularly for bedtime reading.
This a great series, well worth the price paidI liked this series, everyone would like this series.Good work !!
