The archetype for all Community Health Worker textbooks. In its second edition, it is the most relevant textbook available for CHW's. I use in my college and university level courses on community health, Community Health Worker (CHW) and Community Paramedics. Mr. Berthold and his faculty are insightful and practical. Easy to understand language and definitions make it a good book for all levels, including entry and high school reading. Yet, not so basic that the most educated can't find interest in it. We plan to use for years to come.

This book has been fantastic! Our CHWs-in-training and our instructors enjoy this book for many reasons. The on-line instructor manual with the activities is priceless. Tim Berthold and his staff are to be commended.

The book was clean when I received it. Very important text for CHW students. I'm glad my instructor picked this text and I'm sorry but I will not be selling this one back. It has some awesome reference material, examples, instruction that I will be drawing from for a long time. Enjoy!

Outstanding foundation text for community health workers.

They could stand to hire a copy editor or three. It makes the content itself not seem very credible.
